*** I am going to be making a bunch of smaller paintings for a while to prepare for the 
Woodlands Waterway Art Festival that I am going to have a booth @ in April 2011!

This is the background for my flamingo painting.  It is the reflection of palm trees!

I added more contrast to the shadows today by adding a dark brown and a green.

I added the flamingo! Pause for lunch...

After lunch I worked on the background.  I added more grey, white and blue.  I also worked on blurring the edges of the reflections as well as adding in the water droplet waves.

I added some highlights on the flamingo's neck and changed some of the dark red areas a bit.
