5.25.2007

Here is my sketch for my new painting.  Ever since I moved to Houston I have wanted to paint these awesome, giant, shiny, metal, halo street signs that hover over the intersections near the Galleria. Yay! I'm excited!

So far so good.

Musical Inspiration of the Day: none, just the raindrops.

5.27.2007

I worked on the front building today and also started figuring out where the wires go.

Musical Inspiration of the Day: none.

5.28.2007

I worked on the buildings in the background and more contrast to the light poles.  I also put the red lights in.  I also put more contrast on the halo.

Musical Inspiration of the Day: more raindrops... it's the monsoons here in Houston apparently.

6.01.2007

Ahhh... the glory of summer!  I added the cars today and added some more contrast to the zig zag building.

Musical Inspiration of the Day: none.

6.04.2007

I worked on the halo sign more today.  I also made some of the zig zag building's windows darker and I changed the sky a bit as well.

6.06.2007

I changed the color of the building in the foreground and I added some reflections on the pavement.  I also started to change the sky a bit as well.  Oh yeah, and I added some trees.

I worked on the sky today. I'm getting close to being finished I think...
