The other day I was inspired while driving to work in the morning. So this will be yet another painting of my hometown of Austin, TX. (This is the intersection of highway 360 and Mopac.)

I have to say that I was already obsessed with the Rascal Flatts song "God Bless the Broken Road" and then Carrie sang it tonight. Beautiful how that worked out, huh?
Yesterday I painted the sky and light poles.
Today I painted cars all day. The truck has been the most challenging so far. Fear not, it won't beat me! :)

I worked on the trees in the background and also glazed the street with a blue color.
I am tryin' hard to get this one done in before July but I guess it's not gonna happen.

Congrats to my friends Elizabeth and Adam who got married under a big ole oak tree today here in the Texas hill country.

I added traffic in the background, changed the color of the road shadow & the top of the concrete deal on the right. I am getting really close to being done...maybe this weekend!
