I decided to paint the church that I got married in. Every once in a while the light floods through the stain glass windows and makes light paintings on the walls. It is so very beautiful that I was inspired.

I started painting a bit today. This one has a lot of perspective to deal with. So that should be a fun challenge.

I worked on the top of the columns and also on separating them and making them look in correct perspective. Plus I raised the blue windows up higher on the left side. Also I made the arches on the ceiling have a little more definition.

More work on the right side columns. I fixed the bottom of them to be taller and worked on straightening out some of the lines. I have come a long way on this one. I stil have details left in the windows but I am getting much closer to finishing.

More work on the first window on the left side. I am trying to get the window details. Had a chance to paint twice today!

6/15/2016

I decided to make the front right column go all the way to the edge at the top. I also continued to work on the front left window details. They are tough because it takes a while for oil paint to dry so that I can add to it without smudging it.

6/17/2016

More work on the front left window details. I am almost finished I think. I am going to let it dry for a bit then touch it up.
