"The Leaves in Ft. Davis, Texas.."

I based this painting on a some yellow leaves that I saw in Fort Davis, Texas last November.   They almost look like stained glass when you look at the sunlight shining on them.

"A  painting lives by companionship, expanding and quickening in the eyes
of the sensitive observer.  It dies by the same token.  It is therefore a
risky & unfeeling act to send it out into the world."
