Believe it or not, in the middle of June there is still snow in Grand Tetons National Park in Wyoming! While visiting I found a trail called Cascade Canyon. It has beautiful views of the snow melting into waterfalls on such a grande scale that you cannot help but be impressed by its wild beauty. While I was hiking there I decided that I wanted to paint it for all the world to see. This painting is 6 feet tall so it hopefully gives the viewer a sense of the grandeur that I felt while I was there.

"A  painting lives by companionship, expanding and quickening in the eyes
of the sensitive observer.  It dies by the same token.  It is therefore a
risky & unfeeling act to send it out into the world."
